Editorial Policy
How we choose, verify and update the offers on Side Hustle Savings. Last updated: 3 August 2026.
Our commitments
- Only real UK opportunities. We aim to list only companies with a genuine, publicly available UK offer, referral programme or paid earning platform. We do not invent rewards, eligibility criteria or bonus mechanics.
- Update window. By "update window" we mean the maximum time between our own re-checks of a live offer. We aim to review every live offer at least once every 30 days, and sooner if we receive verified reports from readers or providers announce changes. Because offers change constantly, we cannot guarantee every page is accurate at every second, the provider's own website is always the definitive source.
- Placeholders are labelled. Where we have not personally verified the current live reward, the amount reads "Check latest offer" and the page links straight to the provider so you can confirm the current terms.
- Manual checks. Where we display a specific reward amount, we aim to verify it directly with the provider or another trusted primary source within our stated update window.
- Editorial independence. Some links are affiliate or referral links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). Commission does not decide which offers we list, how prominently we cover them, or how we describe them. If a provider asks us to change a review for commercial reasons, we will refuse or remove the listing.
- Plain-English language. We describe terms, eligibility and payout timing in the language a reader would actually use, not marketing spin. Where a claim would be a promise we cannot honestly guarantee, we soften it, no absolute "guaranteed", "risk-free" or "you will earn" wording.
- Corrections. If we get something wrong, tell us via Report an Issue or Report an Expired Offer. We aim to investigate reported issues as quickly as reasonably possible, typically within 48 hours, and either update, correct or remove the page. Material corrections are logged on our Corrections Policy page.
- Not advice. Everything we publish is general information for a UK audience. It is not personal financial, investment, tax, legal or gambling advice. See our Website Disclaimer and Earnings Disclaimer.
