Affiliate Disclosure

Honest and up-front — how Side Hustle Savings makes money. Last updated: 23 July 2026.

In short: some links on this site are affiliate or referral links. If you sign up through one, the provider may pay us a small commission — at no extra cost to you, without changing the deal you receive, and without affecting our reviews. We only recommend offers we believe are genuinely useful for UK earners.

Side Hustle Savings is free to read. To keep it that way, some of the offer links on this site are affiliate or referral links. This page explains exactly how that works so you can decide whether to use our links. It is written to meet UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance on online endorsements and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) / CAP Code rules on identifying commercial content.

1. What is an affiliate or referral link?

An affiliate link is a normal web link that includes a tracking tag. If you click it and go on to sign up, the provider knows the referral came from Side Hustle Savings and pays us a set commission. A referral link is similar but tied to a specific member account (sometimes ours, sometimes a partner's). In both cases, you pay nothing extra and the reward advertised to you is unaffected.

2. Which links pay us?

Any link labelled "Get Offer" or that takes you to a bank, cashback site, investing app, matched-betting tool or side-hustle platform may be an affiliate or referral link. Not every link is — some providers do not run an affiliate programme, and we still list them if the offer is worth knowing about. Non-commercial links (for example to regulators such as the FCA, ICO or the Gambling Commission, or to charities such as GamCare and BeGambleAware) are never affiliate.

We aim to make this obvious on each offer page. Where required, individual pages carry a short "Affiliate link — we may earn commission" notice.

3. What we do not do

  • We do not take payment to inflate reward amounts.
  • We do not hide unfavourable terms, fees or eligibility conditions.
  • We do not fabricate reviews, ratings or "Kelly's Pick" badges.
  • We do not sort offers by which pays us the most. The sort order on the site (newest, highest paying, ending soon, easiest, quickest) reflects genuine data about the offer, not what pays us.
  • We do not receive your personal data from providers as part of the affiliate relationship. Tracking tells the provider that a referral came from us — nothing more.
  • We do not run sponsored posts dressed up as editorial content.

4. Editorial independence

Whether an offer pays us a commission has no impact on how prominently we cover it. We only list offers we believe are genuinely useful for UK earners. If we cannot verify an offer, we don't list it. See our Editorial Policy and How We Verify for the full methodology.

5. Reward amounts can change

Providers can change the reward, the eligibility or the terms of any offer at any time without telling us. Always check the provider's own website for the latest offer, eligibility and payout terms before signing up. If you spot something out of date on our site, please report it and we'll fix it.

6. Investing, credit and gambling content

Some affiliate links are for investment apps, credit cards or bookmaker sign-up offers. Please read our Terms, Responsible Gambling page and the provider's own risk warnings before applying. When you invest, your capital is at risk. Gambling involves risk — only bet what you can afford to lose.

7. Questions

If anything on the site looks like a paid placement dressed up as editorial, or a disclosure is unclear, we want to hear about it. Email hello@sidehustlesavings.co.uk or use the Contact page.
