Accessibility Statement

How this site works towards WCAG 2.2 AA. Last updated: 23 July 2026.

1. Our commitment

Side Hustle Savings is committed to making its website usable for as many people as possible, including those with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive impairments. We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a baseline.

2. What we do

  • Use semantic HTML with clear heading structures.
  • Provide alt text for meaningful images.
  • Use colour combinations that aim to meet AA contrast ratios.
  • Support keyboard-only navigation and visible focus styles.
  • Make forms accessible with labelled fields and clear error messages.
  • Ensure the site is fully responsive on mobile, tablet and desktop.
  • Announce dynamic content (e.g. form success and errors) to screen readers.

3. Known limitations

This is a new website and accessibility is a continuous process. Areas we are actively working to improve include: consistent alt text on decorative images, keyboard traps in third-party embeds (where present), and ensuring all interactive components have accessible names. If you encounter a problem, please tell us — see section 5.

4. Third-party content

When you follow a link to a third-party provider (a bank, cashback site, bookmaker or survey platform), the accessibility of that website is outside our control. We encourage providers to meet accessibility standards but cannot guarantee they do.

5. How to report an issue

If you find an accessibility problem — a page you can't use, a button you can't reach, an image without alt text — please email hello@sidehustlesavings.co.uk or use our Contact page. Please include the URL of the page, the assistive technology you use (if any) and a short description of the issue. We aim to respond within five working days.

6. Enforcement

If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS): equalityadvisoryservice.com.
